"Going old school on this one, Episode 117 of You Don't Know Flack is all about copyfests, those disk-swapping parties we used to throw back in the day. In this episode you'll hear about my own experiences with copyfests, why we started having them, and why we stopped."

Great episode. Enjoyed the descriptions of those copyfests. I remember when the gatherings of the local computer user group were a bit of a copyfest (late 80s, begin 90s).. later there was a crackdown.

Audio quality was great, no echo or weird background noise (other than the one at the start). And I can imagine being in a hotel gives you some evening time to record a podcast when at home there is always something to do or an interruption.

Thanks man, I appreciate the feedback both on the content and the audio quality!

I set up my "portable recording studio" while driving back from DC and recorded one in the car. I think I picked up a bit too much background noise on that one and will most likely have to re-record it.
