So is it a scam? It reminds me of the Phantom console. I bet Mr. Elio got in too deep too fast and he just wasn't savvy enough to understand what it takes to really build cars. Hell, even Henry Ford was a better mechanic than a businessman.

Some people think it was a scam all along and some people think he was just naive. I don't know which I believe but I do know if you say it was a scam they can sue you, so you have to say things like "in my opinion." For people who took tens of millions of dollars from people and never delivered a single car, they're pretty touchy.
