I don't get the mind-set for wanting to live like that. I saw a few of these back when I was going to Grateful Dead shows. People would just follow the band from city to city in these little vans and live in the parking lots. Some of them would set up tents and sell jewelry and stuff. I thought they were weird

I changed my terminology while recording the show, but I call those people "dirty hippies." I don't mean it as an insult as much as an accurate description. I imagine those people are relatively dirty and smelly. It's a very different aesthetic to the modern vanlife people.
