I quickly realized climbing seven and ten flights of stairs gets old fast. By the time I was 18 I stopped going to Darien Lake for the water slides.

I don't know if it was worse when they were crowded, or when no one was there. When it was crowded, the line going up the stairs moved very slowly and there were lots of moments to rest. When no one was there, all stood between you and those glorious slides were, you know, a couple hundred stairs.
