There was a quote, back in the 90s, I can't remember it verbatim ( no google) but iw along the lines of: in the future there won't be a category of computer crimes, all crimes will be computer crimes.

Basically saying that computers will be involved in everything, just like special effects.

One thing I didn't mention was "face swapping." I know in one scene in Jurassic Park a stunt woman performed a drop and they replaced her face with one of the kids' faces. They did the same thing in The Crow. When it's easier to swap in a CGI face than it is to create a mask... yeah. Game over.
