Re: YDKF Episode 157: Printer Extravaganza
I don't expect this to be a popular episode, even though there are some good stories in there. Did you do anything with old printers that I didn't cover? Let me know! Brought one out to a field with some friends and hit it with a baseball bat. But seriously, that Eye of the Tiger (Dot Matrix mix) w...

Re: YDKF Episode 155: Cassettes
I have precious few radio tapes, but I have a lot of stuff that I taped off of MTV video tapes that I made in the mid 90s. Songs on the radio and MTV sound a bit different because they are compressed so the volume is normalized across the whole track. I had no idea why songs sometimes sounded less p...

Re: Summer School with Shawn Robare
Great show as usual, I love listening to you guys talk about old stuff. I loved this movie back in the 80s, but I haven't seen it in a very long time. After listening to the podcast, I think Summer School is probably one of those movies that I won't be able to appreciate now.

Re: YDKF Episode 150: The Creek
That line about Playboys in the Red Dawn section was one of the funniest things I've ever heard on a podcast. Thank God I wasn't eating or drinking anything when I heard it. Great episode as usual Rob, and thank you for the well-wishes email. :)

Re: Episode 145: About Podcasting
Thank you guys. Yes, my show can be dry at times, even now that I'm not using a script (the script shows are HORRIBLE to me now). I have a lot of minutiae in my shows and it's hard to make it all interesting to anyone but myself. :)
And I agree, Rob's music is awesome.

Re: Just One of the Guys with Shawn Robare
Another great show as always! I don't remember this movie at all, but I'm pretty sure I saw it in the 80s. It's too bad about the cartoon podcast though. Hopefully you can do it again.

Now that you said that I think I remember hearing that on the premiere episode of A2600GBGP. I'm a dummy. If you ever have or adopt a child and it's a boy, please name it Curt. I already have that association made in my brain and I will never forget it. If it's a girl, I recommend Kira the Gelfling...

Re: The Dark Crystal with Doug McCoy
Yeah, thought-provoking can be a chore sometimes. Sarah is my wife and Curt is my brother in law (he's also a classic gaming collector). They are the only 2 people I told about the podcast when I first started thinking about it, and they would ask me constantly when I was going to get started.

I HAVE NO SON
I think my wife has seen both, I'll have to ask her if she would want to watch them again. I can't watch movies by myself for some reason. TV shows, sometimes.

Well deserved for this great, great episode. Not only good for people new to podcasting, but also good for people who are already podcasting and still don't have much in the way of self-confidence. I am honored to have participated.

Even though I'm pretty sure I've never played any C64 games, I am really loving this Tubecast! My wife and I watch it on the Wii Youtube channel while we're having dinner, she enjoys it too. She has more computer experience than me, having an Apple 2 e when she was a kid, so she can probably relate ...

Another great episode Rob! My brother in law and I went to Funspot a few years ago hen we were visiting family in Vermont. It was so awesome to play some games that I only ever experienced through MAME and of course, to revisit old favorites. I'm glad you were able to go with your family, and I real...

Re: Episode 135: Backmasking
Great episode Rob! Being a huuuge Beatles fan, I was hoping that you would mention the whole Paul is Dead thing. I got a lot of mileage out of that in college, I did papers in 3 different classes on it. I went to a dorm armed with sound samples and asked people what they could hear, then I told them...
