Those are cool. I think they were some sort of aluminum-clad plastic composite? I stuck them on a fur down in my college apartment. They're in a box now waiting on me to build a game room again.

Re: New Video: BRV003
One of my previous projects came out to something dumb like 3 hours of work per finished minute of video. I burned out on that one pretty quick. That's one of the reasons why I like live switching multicam stuff, it really reduces the amount of time I spend in editing. But the videos I'm working on ...

Re: BLOG: Morgan’s Senior Prom
I never really made time for dating in high school. When I found out that our state robotics competition was scheduled the same date as prom, I opted for the robotics competition.

Re: Sprite Castle Updates
OBS is awesome. I use it for all sorts of oddball stuff at the office. At home, I've been exploring its integration with NDI for easy conversion and transport of SDI signals over network and integration with Skype without having to do screen captures or stuff like that.

Re: The Human Library
Got it on Sunday, finished reading it last night. Loved the little nods sprinkled in there (red stapler, room 405). For whatever reason I can't help but imagine Grampy sounding like Gramps from House II: The Second Story. Going to have to have you scribble on it sometime. http://www.vectorcade...

Re: Part 15 AM/FM transmitter
Looks like the call's going out for OVGE exhibitors. Still interested in doing a broadcast from the venue? I'd be willing to provide the equipment to make it happen.

Re: Part 15 AM/FM transmitter
Might not hurt to put together a few 10-15 minute pre-produced chunks so the broadcast could continuously run during a bathroom or shopping break or something (or if you didn't want to use the band or anything else that's super loud). Should be pretty easy to put a kit together, just a small field m...

Re: Part 15 AM/FM transmitter
I picked up a cheap FM transmitter from some dude in Hong Kong on eBay, use it for one of those dancing light setups. I could bring that to OVGE if you want to tinker a bit. Shoot, they've got some 15W transmitters on eBay, but I'm sure some wonderful people from the government would pay you a visit...

Re: Episode 113: Apple Computers
Apparently iTunes doesn't like me or something. It throws an error message saying "Your request could not be completed. The item you've requested is not currently available in the US store." when I follow the iTunes link. The YDKF Podcast link worked fine, but the Episode 113 link took me ...

Re: New Microphone
Curious to see (or hear) what you chose. Just started playing around with a ribbon mic myself, although the pre-amp I run it through is quite noisy. ------------------------------- Oooh, a Blue Yeti. Curious to hear what that sounds like. What were you using before? I currently use an MXL 990 for vo...
